I have a defibrillator. Are my chances good for a relatively long life?
I have a defibrillator with an ejection fraction of 35 percent. What are my chances for a relatively long life if I follow a healthy life style?

Oscar, Having an ejection fraction of 35% is actually pretty good. The defibrillator is a preventive measure and not a death certficate. If you walk or exercise with relative ease and frequency, your prognosis should be pretty good. Of course, your question in the end should be better answered by the physicians that know your case much better.
